What You’ll Do
Our Warehouse Lead is a full time position that will direct the activities of our warehouse personnel involved in the receiving, production and shipping of Sphero products. You will ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Site Manager with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by the warehouse team.
- Supervises all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by the warehouse team.
- Maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on the warehouse floor throughout the shift.
- Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised.
- Supervises inventory control process.
- Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.
- Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders.
- Schedules equipment maintenance as required.
- Forecasts crewing needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly.
- Coordinates with the Site Manager to manage personnel issues and requests.
- Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.
- Performs administrative tasks as necessary.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
- Must comply with and maintain all safety requirements including but not limited to wearing steel toed shoes in the warehouse and safety mask when applicable.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years related successfully leading/supervising groups of various skill sets and personalities while motivating team members to be their best.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Capability to perform the physical labor necessary, including lifting 40lbs regularly and up to 50lbs when needed.
- Has recent examples of leadership in community building/efforts.
- Ability to write standard operating procedures and train employees in their use.
- Able to open & save Excel documents and utilize functions such as “sum” and “vlookup.”
- Ability to comfortably communicate with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Ability to use and navigate google platforms such as gmail, docs, and sheets.
- Are currently forklift certified or able to become forklift certified.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Ability to accurately and quickly count the total number of units of multiple SKUs in multiple inventory locations.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Able to receive instructions and ask clarifying questions where needed
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Potential to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
- Must be located in the Greenville, TX area and authorized to work in the US.

Compensation: The compensation for this position is $23.00 per hour.
